Monitoring and patching before the fire drill.

  • Predictable cost

Flat per-user monthly. Quotes after we see your environment.

  • Local when it matters

Hixson / Red Bank based. Onsite measured in hours, not days.

Built for Chattanooga firms of about 5–50 people

If you don’t have full-time IT — and you’re tired of waiting on a distant support queue or a cousin who “knows computers” — you’re the client this practice is built for.

  • Professional services
  • Dental & medical practices
  • Accounting
  • Law
  • Insurance
  • Property management
  • Light retail

Sweet spot for year one: roughly 8–25 users on Microsoft 365 (or ready to get there).

Not a fit: enterprise desks, plant-floor OT, or shops that only want the cheapest break/fix.

Proactive. Predictable. Local — with a name on the line.

Stay ahead of problems

Monitoring, patching, endpoint protection, and backups we schedule, monitor, and test restores on a calendar — aimed at reducing the risk of surprise downtime.

Know the bill before the month starts

Flat per-user managed IT. Scope in writing. Projects and after-hours emergencies called out separately — not buried in a surprise invoice.

Hours, not days, when someone has to be there

Based in Hixson and Red Bank. When remote isn’t enough, local onsite across Hamilton County and greater Chattanooga — from the same person who already knows your environment.

Named packages — outcomes, not a commodity checklist

Pick the posture that matches your risk. Exact scope and monthly figure come from the assessment — these are how engagements are packaged.

Flat per-user. Quoted after we see your environment.

Typical after assessment (working draft)

Most 8–20 user offices land roughly $100–$160 per user / month

Worked example: ~12 users ≈ $1,200–$1,900 / month depending on scope. Onboarding is a separate one-time quote.

Engagements are typically a 12-month term so monitoring isn’t month-to-month thrash. A shorter on-ramp can be discussed for first clients.

  • Monthly managed IT priced per supported user (typically a person with a device + mailbox).
  • You know the monthly number before the month starts — not after a pile of surprise hourly bills.
  • Onboarding / discovery is quoted up front as a one-time item.
  • Projects outside scope (migrations, new office build-outs, major tenant rebuilds) are fixed-fee or T&M — never “included because we’re nice.”
  • The free assessment produces your exact number — the band above is orientation, not a public rate card.

Davis Wright

I’m Davis Wright — most people call me Dave. I grew up in this area and I’m back in Red Bank building Wright IT Services as a named-owner local MSP for small businesses in greater Chattanooga.

I’ve spent years in hands-on field IT — networks, Microsoft 365 cleanups, and showing up onsite when remote isn’t enough — including government field support in remote, high-stakes environments (Alaska / North Slope). That background taught me to keep work plain-spoken and owned end-to-end.

This practice is new / pre-launch. I’m building it carefully — not inventing a client roster. If we work together, you’ll deal with me. That’s the point.

Straight answers before you call

How much does managed IT cost?
Most 8–20 user offices land roughly $100–$160 per user / month after assessment (working draft — depends on scope). Example: ~12 users ≈ $1,200–$1,900 / month. Onboarding is separate one-time. Typical term is 12 months; a shorter on-ramp can be discussed for first clients. The free assessment produces your clear number.
What’s a user?
Typically a person with a supported device and mailbox. Shared devices, servers, and network gear are spelled out in the proposal so counting isn’t a gotcha.
Do you offer 24/7 support?
Standard coverage is business hours, Eastern, Monday–Friday. After-hours emergencies can be defined for clients who need that path — I won’t sell a fake NOC.
How fast can you be onsite?
For local critical issues during coverage hours, the goal is measured in hours across the Hixson / Red Bank / greater Chattanooga area — not “next week.” Exact targets are written into the agreement.
What happens when you’re already onsite elsewhere or sick?
Coverage is planned in the agreement: remote-first triage, a clear after-hours emergency path, and priority rules when I’m already onsite at another client. As a solo practice I keep honest capacity limits — I won’t sell a 40-client NOC. You’ll know the path before you need it.
Do I need a long-term contract?
Managed IT works best on a clear 12-month term so monitoring and care aren’t month-to-month thrash. A shorter on-ramp can be discussed for early clients. Details are in the written agreement.
What size business do you work with?
About 5–50 employees; best fit is often 8–25 without a full-time IT person.
Is this only remote?
Remote-first for speed; local onsite when the job needs hands on hardware.
Do you work with dental or medical offices?
Yes — with process honesty: BAA available when engaged; don’t put PHI in the web form; insurance and BAA paperwork completed before any patient/client data access. Compliance help, not a certified outcome claim.
